As the sun begins to sink lower in the sky and the night becomes chilly and dark, before we even notice the changing of colors with our eyes, our senses tell us that the energy of summer has come to an end.
The Autumn Equinox is a meaningful time of year to honor the harvest of the months before. Whether that be a "real" harvest of the things planted in your garden or the harvest of efforts and intentions for your life path that you set earlier in the year.
We honor and give thanks for the abundance in our lives. We honor the cycle of nature and how it mirrors in our lives: the beauty of letting go and how it's necessary for new growth, how even in decay there is the spark of life, how the long nights are needed to reflect and bring peace to our minds.
I start journaling a lot more in fall and winter, and I found some beautiful journal prompts that I'll be using! Let me know if you use them too ☺️

I was very much needing this weekend to go perfectly, and it actually did just that!
The drive up to Fayetteville was stormy, but cleared up as I got into the mountains 🌄 the drive home was beautiful, sunny, not a lot of traffic, just great!

Spending time with friends, reuniting with my doggy pal Lt Dan, making new fur friends, eating good food, and the absolutely amazing show Glass Animals put on; it's just what I needed.
Thank you and Chris for letting me stay with you, taking me around Fayetteville, and helping me check another bucket list show off my list!! Y'all don't understand just how much I needed that!!

But my heart is full of gratitude and hope, my soul is comforted and we will emerge on the other side revived, refreshed, and eagerly waiting for the next cycle.

Over $1 million was raised yesterday for Kamala Harris, we showed up to answer the call!! Megan Rapineo, Pink, and other celebrities showed up to talk, the link broke idk how many times bc of so many women wanting to join. Idk if I'm drunk on hope, but Nov is looking good!

Sunday night 44,000 Black Women gathered to support Kamala Harris and raised over $1 million. Now it's our turn!
