CardioGolf™ Fitness System
Get your Heart Pumping and your Golf Form in shape with the CardioGolf Fitness System…No golf ball required! Professional golfers know the importance of athletic development for golf. As a recreational golfer, you may not have the time to train like an elite athlete, but by simply adding a few swing drills into your daily routine, you can dramatically improve your game.
When you’re handing someone a golf club for the first time, you don’t want to overwhelm them with too much theory or technical instruction. The first goal is simple: make contact and have fun!
We begin by learning the basic sequence of the golf swing. Then she practices hitting a large ball. As her coordination improves, we gradually make the ball smaller until she is ready for a real golf ball.
The larger ball provides immediate feedback, makes success easier and builds confidence. With each repetition, the movement becomes more natural.
Then comes that magical moment—she hits a real golf ball and makes solid contact.
Once she feels that first good strike, she’s hooked! C

One of my students asked me how to keep her lead arm straight during the golf swing.
Your lead arm doesn’t need to be locked or rigid—it simply needs to stay extended. Too much tension can restrict your turn and prevent your wrists from hinging naturally.
If your lead arm keeps bending, check your lead-hand grip. A poor grip can limit your wrist hinge, causing you to bend your elbow instead.
Think:
💚 Lead arm long
💚 Elbow soft
💚 Wrist free to hinge
💚 Grip secure—but relaxed
Don’t force your arm straight. Let it stay long while your shoulders turn and your wrists hinge.
Move better. Swing better.®
Here’s your CardioGolf® Daily Dose.
Your ankle, calf and hamstring flexibility help determine how well you can set up to the ball. Your weight and balance at address also determine how freely you’ll be able to swing the club.
We use the CardioGolf® Impact Wedge to stretch and strengthen these areas while practicing better posture. Stand with your toes elevated and heels down, then gently hinge forward.
Remember: if your setup is out of position, the rest of your swing becomes a series of compensations.
Set up better. Balance better. Swing better.

Should you make par on a Par 4?
KPJ Golf Tip of the Day ⛳️
I really, really, really hate making a bogey on the first hole!
But the other day, one of my students made a double bogey on the first hole and was completely discouraged. That inspired me to do some research to find out the probability of making par on a par 4—and making par is harder than we sometimes think.
Take a look at this graph I found. Even a scratch golfer averages 4.2 on par 4s and hits the green in regulation only about 52% of the time. A 10-handicap averages 4.8, while a 15-handicap averages 5.1.
So if you start your round with a bogey—or even a double—don’t decide that your entire round is ruined. Give yourself some grace.
Your score on the first hole is only one number. Reset, move on and remember: you still have 17 holes left!

Wednesday’s CardioGolf® Performance Plan: Balance That Transfers to the Course
Today, we’re featuring a 12-minute balance routine with yoga expert and golf fitness performance coach Lauren McMillin from YoGolf Performance® | Yoga for Golf® | Lauren McMillin
Using the CardioGolf® Fit Slope, Lauren combines traditional yoga poses with golf-specific movement to prepare your body for the uneven lies you encounter on the course.
Golf is rarely played from perfectly level ground. Uphill, downhill and sidehill lies require your feet, ankles, hips and core to adjust while you stay balanced and maintain control of your swing.
This quick routine will help you improve:
• Balance and stability
• Strength through your feet, ankles, hips and core
• Mobility and rotation
• Coordination and body awareness
• Confidence on challenging lies
It’s only 12 minutes—but it trains the balance and stability you need for real-life golf.
Sign in to the CardioGolf® Online Studio and follow today’s Wednesday Performance Plan.
Train for the lies you’ll actually play.
Move Better. Swing Better. Play Better

CardioGolf® Weekly Performance Plan-Week 35
Train Your Body to Meet the Demands of Golf-
Golf requires time, effort, skill, mental fortitude and perseverance. To play consistently, golfers need to work on every part of the game—full swing, putting, chipping, bunker play, course management and the mental game.
Then there is the physical side. You need strength to create and control power, cardiovascular endurance to maintain your energy for 18 holes, balance to produce a stable swing and mobility to move through an effective range of motion.
That is a lot to fit into an already busy schedule.
Most of us do not have hours every day to practice and exercise, but that does not mean we cannot improve. The goal of the CardioGolf® Weekly Performance Plan is to help you practice smarter by combining golf-specific movement, strength, mobility, balance and swing practice into efficient workouts.
CardioGolf® Weekly Performance Plan-Week 35 This is your CardioGolf® Online Studio Performance Plan—a full week of training sessions laid out for you. Simply sign into your CardioGolf® Online Studio subscription and go to the Weekly Performance Plan. Not a CardioGolf™…
