I miss him more every day. Doing my best to respond to the lovely messages I’ve received this week today.

This will be my last post for awhile. Hercules was the first dog I ever raised, trained and grew into my best friend. I have memories of him in snow, grass, sand and mountains but no amount of pictures or videos will bring back that loving kind and gentle presence back into my life.

I’m so grateful for my friends and everyone who’s reached out. This is one of the toughest things I’ve gone through in my adult life but I hope to come out of this tragedy with renewed hope.

And to my Hercules: I know you understand English fully and will read this in social media heaven so just one more time, thank you for being the BEST boy, you’re such, a good boy, and I love you 3000.

After six years, I’m not saying goodbye. I will bring you with me everywhere I go. I’m excited to meet you in our next life… And we’re gonna have so much fun.

The house feels so empty without you, haven’t got a really good gentle giant yesterday. I am so grateful for the almost 6 years we got together.

So apparently this kid I beat up in college grew up to be a big deal. Who’s team Conrad? love you man! Sorry for beating you up but at least you turned out wayyyy prettier than my fu***ng accent 😛

has known me since I was freaking born!! 28 years later I had the privilege of training him and his amazing wife in my brand new home gym!! The coolest part? I was able to show MY MENTOR, a NEW landmine exercise that will increase his striking power.
