Sometimes less is more and it’s the approach I use for most of my color maintenance appointments.

Usually I do highlight to the root and a root retouch on her grays then move up her one row. However this time she came in and her color was Very washed out because she went to Disney and was in the sun and swimming. So no highlights it wasn’t needed she was already VERY light.

So all we did for this maintenance appointment was root retouch combing some of the color down to blend and tone down her existing highlights just a touch and of course she got new hair extensions because honestly, it was time for a new set anyway.
Side note we are already talking about her color for like August/September hint: 🤎🧡

A small update. I haven’t been posting much at all and it’s because I am deep in the trenches of creating vision. As most of you know I am getting married this year and things will change but I need to get clear about what I want and need my everyday to be and how I can achieve that.

I WILL CONTINUE TO DO HAIR! however my current day to day will not align with my vision and you will likely see some changes in the nature of the services I offer and how I show up. The tarot pulls have been me dabbling in a direction I would like to go and the feedback has been wonderful thank you to those who reached out. It has given me encouragement to continue the direction I want to go.

While I am still working on my vision of the future and how to get there, I am excited for what’s to come and will start sharing more when a few more things come together. Thank you for your continued support, I hope you find a little magic in your day ♥️

Because I realized I don’t share enough about hair care so I decided to share products I like with my basic routine to help keep your hair healthy and looking great.

There are styling product options for my air drying peeps but one of the products can do both air drying or blow drying. I use it and love it, it’s called Style Guru.

I have been getting more clients wanting color services that need multiple techniques to achieve the color they show me. Just a friendly reminder a traditional partial or traditional full doesn’t include any additional technical coloring like an added root,lowlights, hair painting and is on a specific timed block.

If you need or want more than just a traditional highlight please book either a partial color edit or a full color edit.
I will try to get more video of what each service includes in the future to help clear up any confusion.
