PLEASE HELP!
Miss Daisy is a beagle who showed up at our house months ago on and off for a while skin and bones. We fed her and worked with her for months to build trust. At first, we had to put a bowl of food far away from us for her to eat and as time went on we were able to get closer and closer. After about 4 months she finally would let us touch her briefly. She found comfort in our pups and would accompany us on our walks. Eventually our front porch was her safe place and she fell into a routine with us. This sweet girl deserves a good home and loving family. She's sweet and great with other dogs but she's currently at Person county animal shelter and I know she's lonely and scared there. I have sponsored her, waiving her adoption fee. Please please if you are considering adopting a pup, miss daisy and I would be very happy to have her considered!

Fun fact:

I can usually tell you how old your baby is depending on where this band is at 😂

Pregnancy does funny things to our bodies, and our hair is definitely not excluded from those interesting changes.

During pregnancy, hormones are obviously a little bonkers. Your levels of estrogen and progesterone increase, so you might notice your hair is growing faster and sometimes a little thicker than usual. The hormone changes can also often lead to an increase in melanin. So you may notice your hair getting gradually darker as your pregnancy progresses. For some women, this change can be permanent but *usually* after a few months of having your baby, everything goes back to normal. So if, after having your baby, your “normal” hair starts to grow back and you notice some crazy color changes….like this sweet lady of mine….don’t panic, it’s normal 🤪 (this was probably one of the most extreme changes I’ve seen, which is why I had to document it!! Usually it isn’t this noticeable….but as you can see, sometimes it is!)
