✨ Let me re introduce myself… ✨
Hi, I’m Stacy! 💕
I’m a Certified Nurse Midwife, the owner of Embrace Women’s Health & Midwifery Care, and a proud boy mom to three amazing young men!💙💙💙
I’m passionate about women’s health—not just pregnancy and birth, but every season of a woman’s life. I believe healthcare should feel personal, empowering, evidence-based, and even a little fun. 😉
When I’m not at Embrace, you’ll probably find me at CrossFit, cheering from the stands at one of my boys’ events, traveling, trying a new restaurant, always spending time with the people I love most.
Building Embrace has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. What started as a dream has grown into a place where women can walk through the door and feel seen, heard, supported, and truly cared for.
I’m so incredibly grateful for every woman who has trusted us with a piece of her story—and for the amazing Embrace team who makes this little dream of mine what it is. 🩵
So if you’re new around here… Hi! I’m Stacy. I’m so glad you’re here. 🌿✨

🎀 OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 🎀
At Embrace, we believe awareness should lead to action.
Because knowing your risk, knowing your breasts, and staying up to date on screening can make a difference. 💗
🎀 BREAST CANCER BY THE NUMBERS
• 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer during her lifetime.
• In 2026, an estimated 321,910 women will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in the U.S.
• An estimated 42,140 women will die from breast cancer this year.
• Breast cancer incidence has been increasing, including a faster increase among women under age 50. (American Cancer Society)
🎀 WHAT ABOUT MAMMOGRAMS?
For women at average risk, current recommendations include:
ACOG:
Begin screening at age 40 and have a mammogram every 1–2 years, using shared decision-making with your healthcare provider. (ACOG)
USPSTF:
Mammography every 2 years from ages 40–74. (U.S. Preventive Services Taskforce)
American Cancer Society:
• Ages 40–44: Option to begin annual screening
• Ages 45–54: Annual mammograms
• 55+: Every 2 years OR continue annually, as long as you remain in good health and have a life expectancy of at least 10 years. (American Cancer Society)
💗 And here’s the important part: Your screening plan may need to be different if you have a strong family history, a genetic mutation, previous chest radiation, a history of breast cancer, or other risk factors.
🎀 KNOW YOUR NORMAL
Breast self-exams aren’t recommended as a formal screening test for average-risk women, but breast self-awareness matters.
Know how your breasts normally look and feel — and tell your healthcare provider about changes such as:
• A new lump or thickening
• Ni**le changes or discharge
• Skin dimpling or puckering
• Redness or swelling
• A change in breast size or shape
• Changes around the ni**le
Don’t wait for your next mammogram if something feels different.
This October, don’t just wear pink.
Know your risk. Schedule your screening. Know your normal. Encourage the women you love to do the same. 💗

With love,
