Sonshine & Smiles

Our Candy drive will be open for 1 week only starting Oct 31st and ending Nov 7th. Candy can be dropped in any of our Christmas Stocking boxes for the week, after which it will be collected up and sorted by our volunteers.
We would love donations of Christmas goody bags small and medium to help us pack the candy ready for Christmas.
If you are interested in sorting the candy, we have asked for minimal sorting as it comes in, but it is a much bigger and more extensive sorting project, please let us know.
Thanks for helping us bring Smiles to seniors, one holiday at a time.

I truly love how creative many of our donors are. I met Sylvia several years ago and she told me all about her creations. She takes old jewelry and uses the beads to remake new items. She makes all of these keychains by hand and recreates necklaces and brings old jewelry back to life. Sylvia is 96 and an absolutely amazing lady. 😊 Every time I get a call from her and pick up a donation she has for me we get to sit down and have a cup of tea and catch up on life. I love to hear her stories and see her handiwork. Thank you so much Sylvia for these beautiful necklaces and keychains. Some of these will be used for a birthday bags and some saved for our next mother's Day project. 🩷

🎒 Update on our drawstring bag drive from a couple weeks ago.
We have almost everything we need to pack these bags but we are shy 100 pairs of gloves and 30 drawstring bags. Would you be willing to purchase a pair or two or a set of bags and get them delivered here over the next day or two, so we can get started on this packing project?
Our amazon wish list has several different sized packs you can purchase and delivery on most can be within the day.
Thank you for considering.
