Officially on Maternity Leave 🤎

This pregnancy has stretched me in ways I never expected and while I’m so excited to meet our baby girl, I’m also looking forward to slowing down, being present with my family and soaking in these final moments before becoming a family of five.

To my incredible clients: thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your skin, supporting my small business, cheering me on throughout this pregnancy and giving me so much grace along the way. This little business means so much to me but the relationships I’ve built with all of you mean even more.

During my leave, product pickups will still be available as needed so please feel free to message me on here or text me!

If you need skincare recommendations, product refills or have questions, please know my response times may be slower than usual while I focus on my family and adjusting to life with a newborn and having the boys home for summer break.

I can’t wait to introduce you all to our newest little love and eventually return refreshed and ready to care for each of you again.

Eat like you want healthy skin.

Skincare matters — but so does what’s happening inside the body.

Your skin is strongly connected to:
• blood sugar balance
• gut health
• inflammation
• hormones

When we eat foods that cause frequent blood sugar spikes, the body releases insulin.
Higher insulin levels can increase oil production, making pores more likely to clog and contribute to breakouts.

Your gut health also plays a role.
The gut and skin communicate through immune and inflammatory pathways. When the microbiome is balanced, inflammation tends to be lower throughout the body.

Simple habits that support skin:

• Build meals with protein, fiber, and healthy fats
• Eat before caffeine to help prevent blood sugar spikes
• Focus on whole foods most of the time
• Include fermented foods for gut health
• Add antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables

Before you touch your face — whether you’re
washing your face, applying skincare, doing makeup, popping in contacts or icing a breakout — wash your hands first.

Your hands collect bacteria, oil, dirt, and pore-clogging residue all day long from things like your phone, steering wheel, keyboards, door handles and makeup brushes.

When those bacteria transfer to your skin, they can contribute to:
• breakouts
• inflammation
• clogged pores
• slowed healing

It seems simple but this one habit can make a huge difference in acne-prone skin. Little habits like this are what help support real skin progress.

ACNE-SAFE MAKEUP GUIDE 🤎

I pulled together a few makeup options that are free from common pore-clogging ingredients that can quietly trigger breakouts.

If you’re actively working on clearing your skin, this matters more than you think.
Pore-clogging ingredients can absolutely slow — or completely stall — your progress.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
• Always apply with clean hands & clean brushes/sponges
• Wash tools weekly
• Remove makeup thoroughly at night

Even acne-safe products can cause issues if tools are dirty or if skin isn’t properly cleansed.

And please remember — formulations change. If you’re acne-prone or in a clearing program, message me before purchasing anything new so we can double check ingredients together.

I would much rather look at a label with you than have you set your progress back and have us both wondering why.
