Not my typical post..But..Today I had the opportunity to teach the women’s class at church, and I wanted to share a little glimpse of the message because it truly touched me & maybe there’s someone out there who needs to think on this too!?. 🤍
My lesson was based on Elder Aaron T. Hall’s talk, “I Glory in My Jesus,” and it left me thinking about one simple question…
Who is Jesus to you??
Not just in general… but who do you need Him to be in your life right now?
Do you need a Healer? A Comforter? A Redeemer? A Friend? A Shepherd? A Savior? Someone to help carry a burden that feels too heavy or bring peace to an anxious heart?
One of my favorite thoughts from this talk is that we don’t just believe in Jesus…we can glory in Him. We can know Him, trust Him, lean on Him, and build our lives on Him. He isn’t meant to stay a story in scripture… He’s there & He’s meant to be part of our everyday lives.
So I’ll leave you with the same challenge I gave the women today in my class…
Who do you need Jesus to be for you today?
Go looking for Him. Talk to Him a little more. Read about Him a little more. Watch for His hand in your life, and invite Him into the places where you need Him most.
I truly believe that as we intentionally draw closer to Him, we’ll realize He’s been walking beside us all along. 🤍
