I'm so proud to share that my book, The Trained Eye, is now available.
I've spent fifteen years in this field — practicing, teaching, and watching the landscape get more confusing, not less. Conflicting advice. Systems that contradict each other. And now AI-generated color analysis that promises instant answers from a photograph. The noise has never been louder.
That's what finally moved me to write this.
My 'burning platform' has always been accuracy. I wrote this book because the confusion and misinformation in our field has real consequences, and I wanted to offer something honest and grounding in the middle of all of it.
We were never taught the language of color! How to understand it, describe it, and "speak" it. In many ways, color has been a mystery to so many, for so long. This book will help you see color in ways you have never understood before.
