The New Braunfels Jaycees named me as a Spark Plug Award recipient for the first quarter of the year! I’ve enjoyed being a part of an organization that gives back so much to the community. It has led to meeting a LOT of great people and helping a LOT of wonderful people. This year, so far(?), I’ve been a part of five committees. Two of which I ran/run social media for, and another I am the secretary for. There is so much support from everyone whether I have questions or want to discuss ideas. I highly recommend becoming a member if you’ve been considering it!

Last week, some fellow Jaycees and I were invited to attend the Crisis Center of Comal County’s soirée to help fundraise for the non-profit. There were powerful testimonies shared, reinforcing the necessity to have such an incredible resource like CCCC. There was a silent and live auction as well as dinner and desserts. It was an emotional, but enjoyable evening alongside the friends I’ve made over the last year. I’m thankful for having been invited, to have had the time to attend, and to show support for a great cause who helps so many.

💖The final product💖 after two weeks of hard work!!

Rooted & Refined got a much needed tune up over the last month with the trees being trimmed and the house being painted! The inside has had some fresh paint applied in three areas so far and has new furniture in a few spaces as well to further brighten up the place. It’s still a work in progress, but the progress made thus far has made a HUGE impact to how functional and inviting this old house is for everyone who works and visits within.
Big shoutout to Radiant Finishers for doing such a thorough job getting the old paint off, replacing rotted wood, sealing gaps, and painting the house.

✨Surprise!✨
This week has been super special for many reasons with more to come! I flew to Colorado (for $68 round trip via Frontier AUS-DEN) on Sunday where my now FIANCÉ picked me up to spent four days together in Boulder and Estes Park, having nothing but Hallmark moments.
I’m flying to Kansas tonight and will travel to Oklahoma on Monday to celebrate our engagement with his family.
Four states in one week makes for one really memorable week, but I can’t wait to get a massage when I’m back 💆🏼‍♀️

With that being said, I’ll be out of office until Wednesday!
