I knew this day was coming. I picked the date. I made the plans. I counted down the weeks, then the days.

And somehow, waking up this morning knowing this is the last one feels completely different.

Today, I’ll unlock the door one last time. Turn on the lights one last time. Stand behind my chair and do what I’ve done for so many years—take care of the people who trusted me to take care of them.

There have been a lot of “last haircuts” lately. A lot of hugs. A few tears. A whole lot of memories.

Today, I’m not going to rush through any of it.

I’m going to soak it in.

Because when I turn those lights off today, I’m not just closing Prichard Perfect.

I’m closing one of the most meaningful chapters of my life.

This week feels different.

For the first time in my career, I’m officially working just three days a week.

Not because business slowed down…
Not because I wanted to slow down…

But because my final day behind the chair is getting closer.

I’m incredibly humbled to say that my appointment book is completely full through closing day. Every remaining appointment belongs to someone who has been part of this journey, and I don’t take that for granted.

To every client who trusted me with your hair, your confidence, your milestones, and even your hard days—thank you. You’ve made this career so much more than haircuts.

These next few weeks are going to be emotional, but I’m looking forward to soaking up every conversation, every laugh, and every final appointment.

Here’s to finishing this chapter with a full heart. 🖤

Two years ago, I took a leap of faith and opened the doors to Prichard Perfect Men’s Grooming. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.

With a full heart, I’m sharing that I’ll be closing my salon suite on August 20.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s the right one for my family as we prepare for an exciting move toward the Texas coast and begin a new chapter together.

I’m also excited to share that I plan to pursue my next passion: teaching at a cosmetology school. After nearly two decades behind the chair, I’m looking forward to helping shape the next generation of beauty professionals and giving back to an industry that has given so much to me.

To every client who trusted me with your hair, your stories, and your time—thank you. You made Prichard Perfect what it became. Many of you walked in as clients and became friends, and I’ll always be grateful for the relationships we’ve built.

I’ll continue accepting appointments through August 20, and I’d love the opportunity to see as many of you as possible before I close this chapter.

This isn’t goodbye to cosmetology—it’s simply a new adventure. Thank you for believing in me, supporting my small business, and allowing me to do what I love every single day. I can’t wait to see what the future holds, and I hope you’ll follow along for the journey.
