Six years ago today, I did a working interview with Amber. Downtown Hair Lounge had only been open for about a month. Amber and I knew of each other, but we weren’t friends yet. She hired me on the spot. It was a huge leap of faith for both of us. She was taking a chance on a new stylist, and I was taking a chance on starting my career in a new salon. Downtown Hair Lounge and my career took off immediately and along the way Amber became my best friend 🥹 We got close so quickly that people always assume we’d been friends for years.

Over the last six years I’ve built relationships with so many incredible people. So many of you started as appointments and became like family. Getting to help people achieve their dream hair and watching their confidence grow is something I’ll never stop being grateful for.

Thank you to Amber for taking a chance on me. Thank you to every client who has trusted me with their hair, supported my business, referred their friends, shared their lives with me, and made Downtown Hair Lounge feel like home. I love you all 🫶🏻

Figured it was time to reintroduce myself!

I absolutely LOVE creating vivid hair color. It truly feels like my calling. Give me all the bright colors, shaggy textured haircuts, and micro bangs, and I’m in my happy place.

The only thing that makes me happier than doing hair is cuddling with my 13 year old old baby boy, Prince Cornelius. 🐈‍⬛

My 6-year anniversary behind the chair is coming up on July 3rd, and to celebrate this next chapter, I’ll be posting some updated pricing soon that will go into effect then.
