Last storm my 80 something year old neighbor walked over in a foot of snow to use my phone because his driveway wasn’t plowed. He couldn’t use his landline to call his plow guy because it was down and he doesn’t have a cell phone (he actually asked me what kind of batteries my phone took 🥹) I called his plow guy for him and we chatted for a few minutes. I have met him twice in my 12 years of living here. Today my dogs were barking outside for a good 10/15 min. I finally went out to see what the problem was. He was standing in my driveway holding these 🥹🥹 and was still in one spot because I think he was afraid the dogs would jump on him and my driveway is very icey. I called the dogs in and he brought it to me door to say thank you.

Are you freaking kidding me 😭 So so so sweet.
