I never understood this 1920s makeup trend… until now!
Someone started talking about ultima ii yesterday in my comments on another video. So here’s a little throwback to a personal favorite. Concealer Lips from Beauty's Past. In 1983, Ultima Il hired a 21-year-old Kevyn Aucoin to produce a new line of makeup products - The New Nakeds, making Kevyn the youngest ever Creative Director for a major cosmetics company.
The New Nakeds collection was notable because it was the first time a major cosmetics company launched a collection with shades that were suitable for all races of women, and thus became highly popular. Incredible.
