WEEK #9 ✨

I didn’t expect to feel emotional writing this week’s post—but here we are. And this is my truth.

The state of the world has been sitting heavily on my heart. Some days, the weight feels bigger than words.

So today, I’m not trying to push it away.
I’m making space for it.

In Classical Chinese Medicine, we understand that the Shen—the spirit—needs a place to settle. When life becomes overwhelming, we can lose our sense of center. Sometimes healing begins simply by creating enough stillness to return to ourselves.

Today’s session is about more than my skin.

It’s about lifting my spirit, calming the mind, and allowing what feels heavy to move.

I’m grateful for the sunshine.
For supportive friends.
For the people who remind me that I am not walking through this life alone.

And I’m reminded that I am held—by the wisdom of those who came before me, by my ancestors, by love, and by a Universal force that I call God.

There is something powerful about remembering that we are part of something greater than ourselves.

So today, I breathe.
I receive.
I soften.
I return to center.

And I trust that healing doesn’t always mean feeling good.

Sometimes healing is simply having the courage to feel, remain present, and let the spirit find its way home.

Week #9 of my Facial Acupuncture case study.
Still showing up. Still receiving. Still returning to myself. 🌿✨

09/27/2026

It’s not just about the face.

Week 8 of my facial acupuncture case study has me noticing something even deeper: I’m not only seeing changes in my skin — I’m feeling them.

✨ Lifting my spirits
✨ Supporting collagen production
✨ Smoothing the appearance of fine lines
✨ Helping my skin look clearer and more balanced
✨ Bringing circulation, relaxation + vitality back to the face

There’s something powerful about taking time to slow down, breathe, and let the body do what it naturally does best: restore.

Facial acupuncture isn’t about changing who you are.

It’s about supporting your skin, your nervous system, and the way you feel in your own face.

Week 8 — and I’m still watching the changes unfold.

09/18/2026

This week of my FITO FACEā„¢ journey, we’re continuing to work with the face through facial acupuncture—without gua sha or cupping.

The focus is precision, facial structure, and areas where we naturally hold tension.

This week’s points:

ST3 • ST4 • ST5 • ST6 • ST7 • ST8

These points are traditionally used in Chinese medicine for local facial concerns and in areas involving the cheek, mouth, jaw, facial muscles, and temporal region.

But there’s another piece of facial wellness we often overlook:

Our expressions shape how our facial muscles work every day.

We smile.
We squint.
We frown.
We purse our lips.
We clench our jaw.
We raise our eyebrows.
We concentrate.

Over time, these repeated movements and patterns of tension become part of how we hold our face.

Facial acupuncture isn’t about changing your ability to express yourself.

It’s about supporting the relationship between facial muscles, tension, circulation, and the nervous system—while allowing your face to remain authentically yours.

Week 7: less manipulation. More precision.

✨ FITO FACEā„¢
Restore the relationship between how you feel, how you function, and how you see yourself.

WEEK #6 | BODY BEFORE FACE ✨

This week, I’m continuing to experience why I begin the treatment with the body before we ever touch the face.

The goal isn’t simply to make the face look different. We first work with the body to create a more grounded, regulated foundation for the facial work.

THE SEQUENCE

1. Body Acupuncture
CV15 • LI11 • LR3 • SP6 • SP9

2. Gua Sha
Preparing the tissues and encouraging circulation before moving into facial work.

3. Exfoliation
Refreshing the skin and preparing the surface for the next steps.

4. Microcurrent SLIM
Targeted microcurrent to support facial contouring and tone.

5. Facial Acupuncture
A deeper layer of the treatment—working with the face while staying connected to the whole-body approach.

6. Celluma LED — 30 minutes
A quiet period for the skin to receive LED light therapy while I rest and integrate.

7. Microcurrent Wand
Fine-line work around the eyes, lips and other areas where I want more definition.

What I’m noticing at Week 6…

I’m starting to notice more tightness through my jaw and a reduction in puffiness, but the most interesting change isn’t only what I see in the mirror.

There is an overall feeling of clarity—less mental clutter, more peace and calm—after each session.

That’s an important part of why I approach facial acupuncture differently.

The face is not separate from the body.

For me, this process is becoming less about chasing a cosmetic result and more about creating a relationship between how I feel, how I function, and how I see myself.

Six weeks in. Still observing. Still learning. Still becoming. 🌿

A beautiful milestone. 🌻

After working together with acupuncture and integrative care, my patient has reached the point of being completely off their MĆ©niĆØre’s medication—with 100% Word Recognition after only 80% for 5-years. She has had her medical provider’s guidance along the way. šŸ¤

Now… we get to work on the fine lines. ✨

Introducing Celluma LED to complement their facial acupuncture journey—supporting healthy skin, rejuvenation, and that natural glow.

🌻Restore from within.

🌟WEEK 5 | My FITO FACEā„¢ Facial Restoration Journey

Five weeks in—and I’m still treating the whole person, not just the face.

This week, I’m continuing to work with what I’m personally experiencing: some fatigue, digestive imbalance, and facial puffiness.

That’s what makes this approach different.

My treatment isn’t simply about placing needles around a wrinkle.

FACE points

ST3 • ST4 • ST5 • ST6 • ST7 • ST8 • SI18

These facial points allow me to work with the muscles and tissues of the cheeks, jaw, temples and midface—supporting circulation, relaxation, tone and facial symmetry.

As I work with these points, I’m particularly interested in the glabella, where I naturally hold tension.

By releasing and stimulating the surrounding facial musculature, I can work toward a softer, more lifted appearance through the brow and upper face.

BODY points

GB21 • LI11 • SP9 • ST25 • CV4

These points bring the treatment beyond the face—addressing the neck and shoulders, Heat, fluid metabolism, digestion and constitutional support through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

And then I layer in:

Facial cupping → Gua Sha → NuFACE microcurrent

The goal is to support the tissues from multiple directions—acupuncture, manual therapy and gentle microcurrent stimulation.

I’m noticing changes not only in how my face looks, but in how it feels.

Less holding.
More awareness.
A softer expression.
And a face that feels more connected to the rest of my body.

🪶This is facial restoration through a whole-person lens.

Because sometimes the face isn’t asking for another product.

It’s asking us to listen.

WEEK 5 — and I’m still learning from my own face.
