It's Skin Cancer Awareness Month!

May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, a crucial time to highlight the importance of protecting your skin and understanding the risks associated with skin cancer.

Skin cancer is one of the most common cancers in the US, but it is also highly preventable so make sure to book your annual screening with your Dermatologist, if you haven't already!

This is also a good reminder that wearing sunscreen daily not only protects against UVB's rays (which are your cancer causing rays) but also against UVA's rays which include halogen and fluorescent lighting.

So make sure to wear your SPF daily, even on the gloomiest of days.

There are two different types of sunscreens and both have different properties and affects on the skin. Make sure you are using the best one for you.
