I’ve officially gone bananas! 🙊🐒🍌 I planted these banana palms in March, and I’ve harvested so many “pencas” it’s unreal. What a gift. 🙏🏽 • I’ve planted 623 trees on the property, and my goal is to plant 80 more fruit trees before the year ends. 🙈🥑 These are the apple banana variety, and I’ve got 4 more banana varieties I’m excited to plant this week. 🌴 There are so far 96 different fruit varities on the property such as avocados, citrus, mangos, bananas, papayas, longans, lychees, mangosteen, coconuts, cacao, jackfruit, durian, dragonfruit, lilikoi, and sapote just to name a few. I’ve also planted sugar cane, turmeric, açaí palms, and sugarloaf pineapple. 👌🏽🌳🥰 • To be able to grow and eat your own food is nature’s gift to us. It’s true abundance and health freedom. 🌿 I feel so connected to the foods I’m putting into my body. It’s a physical, mental, and spiritual nourishment, and it feels so good to be living in alignment with my beliefs. 🫶🏽 Its about showing respect to the earth and living compassionately. 🐮🌎 I believe that learning to grow food fosters not only a better connection with nature, but also a better relationship with yourself. 🥬🥒🌶🫑🥦🥕🍅💫 • I’ve learned so much to get to this point. It’s been extremely humbling…& 💯 worth it. Each tree has been carefully placed and SO lovingly planted. ♥️ • I hope this somehow inspires you to not only become more conscious about what you consume and support, but also to eat more plant-based meals and to eat REAL FOOD.
