📢 PSA4 Cops and Community Basketball Game Update

We sincerely apologize to everyone who planned to attend the PSA4 Cops and Community Basketball Game today.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the event has been postponed. We understand that many of you may have adjusted your schedules to join us, and we truly appreciate your support, enthusiasm, and commitment to strengthening our community.

This is your opportunity to stay informed, share your concerns, learn about what’s happening in our neighborhood, and work together to make the Lower East Side a safer, stronger, and more connected community.

Whether you’re concerned about public safety, quality of life issues, youth programs, senior services, or simply want to be more involved, we encourage you to come out and be part of the conversation.

Real change begins when neighbors come together.

Join us for an important and meaningful community conversation as District Leader Jacky Wong hosts a special screening of the award-winning documentary “Stranger at the Gate.”

This powerful true story explores how compassion, understanding, and human connection can transform fear into friendship. Following the screening, community members will come together for an open discussion about racism, prejudice, acceptance, and ways we can build stronger relationships across different backgrounds.

PSA 4 Community Council is honored to participate in this important dialogue. We believe that meaningful conversations help create safer, stronger, and more united communities.

I hope you’re all enjoying this beautiful weather.

I wanted to share a few photos from a past event that our Vice President of the Community Council Executive Board proudly co-hosted alongside District Leader Jacky Wong.

The purpose of the event was to help strengthen and bridge relationships between the Asian and Latino communities. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our cultures, build unity, and recognize that we share far more similarities than differences.

Needless to say, the cultural event was a great success.

Come attend our upcoming Community Council Meeting and meet Captain Wells along with the police officers who patrol and help keep our neighborhood safe.

This is your opportunity to share your compliments, concerns, and questions directly with those who serve our community.

You’ll also have the chance to meet your local elected officials and/or their representatives.
