I want my children to grow up believing they don’t have to choose between ambition and love, purpose and presence, family and the life they’re called to build.

I hope they grow up believing that extraordinary lives are built by ordinary people.

More than anything, I hope they believe they can become exactly who they were created to be.

If my life helps them believe that, and maybe encourages another woman to believe it too, that will always feel like success to me.
