Saffron, whole.

At Balmbini, we don’t use extracts. We use the whole thread — Extra Class Negin saffron, hand-sorted in Herat — suspended intact in 850+ MGO Manuka honey.

The thread carries crocin and safranal, the compounds behind its color and its antioxidant power. We chose to use the whole thread to keeps its full chemistry — brightening, soothing, protective.
