AI, its capabilities, usage & concerns are exploding everywhere & in every industry. Case in point, NBC News aired a feature of a Portland Radio station that debuted the first On-Air AI DJ. While many are excited, others have voiced their concerns regarding the matter. Created using RadioGPT, a version of ChatGPT for Radio, AI Ashley is a fully autonomous version of one of the station's real-life DJs. People find the rapid increase in AI-related technologies to be a bit concerning, as now it seems new AI pops up every day. We’re very interested in seeing what effects AI will have on the use of voice as a whole. Is this a positive thing, or will it expose underlying issues?

Wimbledon recently announced they will be using an AI-generated audio commentary tool to assist with their 2023 tennis coverage on their mobile app. The AI uses IBM’s watsonx AI platform and is trained in "a language of tennis."
