Our Story

Co-Founders Kevin Corey and Gregory Schipf have known each other a long time. Not just a few years, their entire lives. In fact, their mother’s would exercise together while they were still in the womb. As their friendship grew, so did their life experience and having spent so much time together, they began to notice many of each other’s habits. Like how many cups of coffee one drinks, how they travel, and attention to health and fitness. “If you spend enough time with the same person, you tend to know how they think after awhile” Kevin said. Fast-forward to adulthood and they’re now working together during the summers with a small business Greg had built. One particular day presented itself when using public restrooms were an only option. This was normal for them as they found themselves on the road a lot. Except this time, there was a major problem - NO TOILET PAPER! This prompted Kevin to ask Greg a question “how much would you pay for one baby wipe right now?” This question led to many more as we continued throughout their day, wondering why there isn’t a solution to the problem they’d just faced.

13 months later...they created an individually wrapped flushable wipe under the brand name “Stall Mates” and launched their IndieGoGo campaign. The traction they’d gained from their campaign was enough to convince them that other people have suffered from the same experience - no toilet paper in a public restroom. This was all the validation they needed to turn this idea into a fully functioning business. As the company grew so did their presence on Amazon which then created opportunities on Jet and Walmart.com. This influenced e-commerce sellers like Thrive Market and Grove Collaborative to carry the brand. Not to mention, hospitals all over the country were ordering from them.

The brand is known for their commitment to quality, service, and convenience. Something customers have come to love and expect. But one thing that really sets them apart from all others is their commitment to the environment. The wipe itself is 100% biodegradable and certified flushable. Their partnership with Trees for the Future has allowed them to have a direct impact on the earth and lives of the people who need it most. By helping TFTF plant trees, it gives families the ability to transition from unsustainable farming techniques to a Forest Garden system. For every box and pack of Stall Mates sold, they plant one tree.

The brand has experienced incredible growth since inception. Customers have reviewed Stall Mates 5-stars on Amazon and provided an array of reasons for their usage of the wipe. “We believe in quality and great customer service. If a customer isn’t happy, I’m not happy. We always aim to give the best experience possible from the point of purchase right to the time you have to use the wipe.” Kevin added he’d like to see the company explore different wipes as well since many of their customers frequently travel.
