What it is: a low-dose steroid injection placed directly into a deep, inflamed cyst to bring down the swelling, pain, and redness. It’s made for the painful, under-the-skin ones you can feel before you see.

How fast it works: patients often see improvement in 2 to 8 hours, and it keeps flattening over the next 24 to 48 hours.
