Hey beauties!
πππππππ
This figure it out Friday
I'll talk about acne, acne, acne! Lol
So most of us get acne in some form or another, now not everyone that gets a pimple are acne prone. So that really determines what products you should be using. Not everyone that gets a pimple should go directly to the acne care section. To make this simple try these examples and see if it fits your concerns.
Mid age female get some pimples ones a months. And normally find lots of black heads threw out the month. Now assuming this person has combination to oily skin she may just get these breakouts do to hormonal changes in her body. This do not require a acne care regiment but do consist of having one product out of her regiment to care for bacteria in the pore. Anything with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide should do the trick or green tea tree oil for a natural care. Most of the time it should be the scrub cause this should be done ones or twice a week consistent with the days. Now if your skin is In fact combination to oily you can choose to have this product be the cleanser.
Now any other skin type stick to the scrub.
Now a teen with consistent acne can be tricky, at that age it's hard to figure out if their acne prone or not due to puberty lol sorry guys but this one is a trial phase, I say always get the starter kits for them, salicylic acid best. If they break out more or get really sensitive to using the product that may be a sign to not being acne prone and just puberty. Try using only one product in the regiment that's for acne care mostly the cleanser. Remember that the bacteria that creates these pimples live in the pore so making sure that's in the process of cleaning the pore you kill the bacteria so it can stop forming. Now still follow the other products to accommodate all other concerns like oily skin or black heads.
Remember to sit on your hands, literally lol, picking on the breakout even a black head can leave a really bad mark and hard to remove since it's damage to the skin.
Sun damage spots and post marks are very different. And so it's the removing process.
Acne is difficult to explain because it's so many different skin types, aconcerns that you look for and reasons to a break out.
You have to take into consideration everything from the food you eat, products you put on your face, hair and were you put your face lol like the pillow cases lol sensitivity is a huge part on creating a breakout.
So I'm not sure if this would help out everyone but feel free to comment your concerns and ill response with a full regiment for you to follow giving your concerns.

Figure it out Fridays πππHey beauty's!!
So we have those Fridays that we still not in the mood to glam up enough and some of us go all out. It happens especially when the weather sucks, give them enough glam to lift your beauty for the weekend, now with spring actually feeling like spring it's easier to do. Lol invest in a foam foundation, now this is generally not for someone with dry skin, it hold non to very little oil to keep dry skin hydrated, but for those of you who have the normal to oily skin its a deff to try. Its supper light weight, feels like silk and its the closes thing to airbrush affect with full courage.
A comfy feel, with a glam look.
Tip: Don't forget to prime the skin first it hold make-up on the skin longer and makes it look smoother, foam foundation dries really quick when applying so do not use any wedges, sanitize your hands and apply. Also do it in portions,

Hey beauties!
This figure it out Friday is Tips for Skin Care. πππππ
1- Always remove your makeup before cleansing your skin unless your cleanser removes makeup. Some cleansers do not remove makeup making it harder to work if you leave on your makeup.
2- Have a consistent cleansing regiment with a cleanser and toner day and night to maximize the moisturizer benefits. Most dry skin can opt out of using a toner but it still help preps the skin for the moisturizer active ingredients.
3- Although scrubs are instructed to use daily it can do more damage to the skin than you think. Try using a scrub only 2 times a week and keep the days consistent.
4- For just oily skin not acne prone try using mask rather than scrubs. It helps absorb oil with out stimulating more on the skin.
5- Choose a moisturizer according to your skin type first and then get something for your skin concerns you don't want to fix one concern and creat new ones.
6- Understand that with any moisturizer to see any results you need to use the entire container. One sample or even a week will not do the job.
7- Using a family group regiment will boost the results of the products and including a serum to the regiment will maximize the results. So try to stay within a line but it's ok to mix brands just as long as you have the right products for your skin.
8- Understand that with most anti-aging products the skin will absorb and get all the benefits from what that product will do for the skin in about 6 months of use. After that the skin will no longer benefit from it. It's recommended that you experience with different products to get more results. But if the moisturizer is great than keep it but if you don't notice any difference it's because it has done the most it will do for your skin.
9- Face creams are not to be put around the eyes at any time they are not ophthalmologist tested and can be very irritant to the eyes. Feel your eye socket and that's a area to remember to not apply face creams. You may have in the pass and had no reaction and I can say from experience if your not as sensitive you won't but it still not good.
10- Night creams are creams that do not have a SPF factor on them. These creams can be used day and night layering your own sunscreen separate during the day and alone at night. Specific label night creams active ingredient may be higher in concentration and may have extra ingredients for pillow creasing and sort so do still have a separate night cream with its own concern.
Ps. Please remember the importance of using a sunscreen all year round the #1 death rates on cancer is skin cancer. Use about 1ounce a day and apply 2hrs before being expose to the sun especially when going to the beach and every 2hrs.
Leave and questions comments or concerns.

Hey Beauty's!!!
Today ill start the madness about Mascaras, Now I my self don't wear much of it due to the fact that I'm addicted to false lashes lol their Is no mascara that can take your lashes from short to long ladies sorry but it just won't happen, if your lashes are long than great, but for the 85% of us that don't have long lashes stop wasting time and money on mascara if your expecting that commercial look lol not going to happen, now I personally use the mascara on my lower lid, so I do own a mascara but to my preference. Lower lashes are shorter so I use a small wound I like Rimmel London, what u should look for in a mascara is more the formula then the wand In ways, you have some of those mascara that has hair fibers inside, yes they do have formulas that are different from others but all to your preference, you have your hypoallergenic ones, your mousse texture ones, now these are good for the natural look, they don't tent to have a buildup of product cause of its light weight formula. And then you have the treatment ones, they help strengthen and promote new lash growth, know as for the wand, it's crazy how they make it seems as if 100 more Bristles would make a difference lol I can't with them. Ladies yes the wand makes a difference but definitely not the amount of bristles lol you do want a full brush for both volume and length but it's hard to use that same brush for short lashes or bottom lashes. I would say to avoid flaking try water proof mascara I know their harder to remove but remember that you should always use eye makeup remover to remove your eye makeup not water so that would help stop the myth of water proof mascara being horrible.
Remember that Mascaras are still great to emphasize the look or your eye lashes, makes them darker and look fuller but hardly ever longer. Any mascara with a two step application normally have a primer and a color, now some and not all, the primer will be like a built-up layer, when it dries it coats the lash and add volume and length, now applying maybe two or three coats of the primer would help your lashes look longer and much more fuller, and what's great is that these Mascaras with primers are great for the long term health and look of your own lashes. If anything try curling your lashes prier and after using mascara for a longer and curvier effect, hey the illusion of anything is better than nothing lol
And if that do not work out try false ones can't go wrong lol
Tip: Every women is different, what works for me may not work for you so do try anything at your preference, as long as it works for you. Also try going over the water line of your eyes with a carbon black retractable liner, it help intensified the look of fuller and longer lashes. And color in the replacement rubber of the lash curler with some black liner before curling, this will help color in the inner water line of the eye. That can be difficult for some of us.
Enjoy ladies hope it helps, leave any questions as to Mascaras or anything you will like to discuss for next Friday.
Hey beauty's!!!
I like that my Figure it out Friday will come as any conversation up for discussion, I would start the myth on the way people think of make-up, " Im naturally pretty, I don't need make-up." Or "Make-up makes you age quicker." Now i can go on forever on this topic but will just address these statements lol
Being so called naturally pretty is as ignorant as to say "women who wear make-up are ugly and insecure". not the case at all. To me being naturally beautiful just means you like the way you look with out emphasizing your features, you should be glad u don't have to correct beautiful freckles that another women might not want but that gives no one the reason to think that, #1, make-up is for ugly women or that #2, you can judge the status on some one just because they use make-up, that makes u IGNORANT. Teach yourself a little about the history on make-up before you speak.
As for the myth of pre-maturing your skins Aging process by wearing make-up is not so much a myth as it is the truth, confusing right but its simple, make-up not only protects our skin from harmful UV Rays but also Free Radicals, I look at it as wearing a layer of clothes on your face lol think about it, your protected from wind, sun, dust and other things when wearing a shirt or pants, it's a barrier layer to protect the skin, now that's what Make-up do to your skin, keep pollution out. Plus all the perps of the look. Lol
But on the other hand it's harmful to not only remove Make-up in the wrong form and have damage to your skin but also not attend to the skins needs first. Pilling on make- up to a un healthy skin can be the main reason why your skin reacts. Treat your skin first, remove all make-up with proper make-up removers cleanse and tone the skin daily and moisturize your skin and eyes properly, apply a good primer to the face before applying any make-up. It will help protect your skin from any harmful ingredients your skin can react to, plus have a velvet finish to your make-up, it will mattifies areas that are oily and hydrate areas that are dry and it will add a great longevity to your make-up.
Tip: having a consistent regiment to your skin care is critical when using any type of make-up. Understand that nothing you apply on dry un moisturize skin will look good. it sits on the surface with dead skin cells. Leaving the make-up to have that cake effect, and no one wants that lol
Thanks beauty's and feel free to comment, I will answer any questions my way. lol
Hey ladies the first figure it out Fridays is up lol ππππ
Hey Beauty's
So I get the question on large visible pore quite often! Sorry they won't close lol they are the skins breeding substance, we can tighten them by having a regular cleansing regiment and moisturizing according to your skin type. But some of us that have oil skin or even combination skin can't help the look of large pore.
Toners are the best at helping pores tighten plus they help the moisturizer do its work. Using a alcohol free toner is a MUST!!! Alcohol may feel like it really clean the skin but it do more over drying and damage than u can imagine, and the damage u will see it in years to come not now so don't be fooled by the feeling of the cool fresh oil free skin at the moment but it's deff not worth it. Also try using moisturizers that are Matt I like Vichy's Normaderm Mattifier but that's for acne aswell or you can try something like the Garnier 5sec blur for all skin types and if your in the anti aging category something like the l'oreal blur.
They help smooth out the appearance of the pore, fine lines and mattifies. Also if you want some foundation that do the trick try Rimmel London stay matte foundation. It's great with mattifing the skin smooth natural feel and coverage. I mean the best reason to want to use a foundation is to hide the visible pores, if that's your only skin concern your having, then your doing great with skin care lol.
P.S If you do have oily skin avoid using scrubs as often as they label you to use, yes they do feel like their picking up all the oil but in reality using it daily can just stimulate more oil production to the skin, so it's really Defeats the purpose, try them only one or twice a week and just keep it consistent.
