Decade ago, Paula Dowds began her career at another well-known salon, Ruby's Beauty Place. As a young stylist, Paula became familiar with the nuances of African-American hair and the needs of her clientele. In 2008, equipped a perfected skill set and community relationships, Paula branched out and founded Ms. P's Hair Studio. Today, with its growing popularity, Paula has become more than a business owner-- she is an instructor to hopeful stylists and a community advocate.
