Hi I’m Kim. I started this oily, conscious biz back in the spring but oils and natural living have been a part of my lifestyle since I was young. My mother being from Morocco introduced me to the power of the oils starting with lavender and rose. Lavender was used for so many things in our household. From sleep aids to skincare to anxiety relief. Rose was a scent that reminded me of my mother and the beauty that came from within. This was precious. .
For me the journey resurfaced after I had a bad fall about 10 years ago during a dance rehearsal doing lifts and tricks. The discs in my neck were immediately compressed. I began deteriorating immediately. I developed Brain fog which means you can’t concentrate and in a daze. Couldn’t walk on my own, breathe, speak or write. Doctors couldn’t figure out what was happening and would just drug me to kill the pain. I was determined that there had to be another way. .
And so my journey to Lake Tahoe began at an experimental treatment facility with others that had similar symptoms. There I was re-introduced to the strength of essential oils and how much they can support the human body. Yes, there would be more changes like dietary and massage therapy. A clean lifestyle began for me and started to help me and others in ways I couldn’t imagine. The Thieves brand of plant-based chemical-free cleaning supplies and sanitizers was key for my nervous system that is very sensitive. I got so excited that there was something I could use that didn’t hurt anymore and smelled amazing at the same time. .
I’ve been through a lot, yes there are days you want to give up. And there are days that you just are ready to persevere. A support system of like minded people is key and

Life can suck sometimes! Let’s face it. But what if instead you looked at those challenging moments as preparation for something bigger. Something better. Something you aren’t supposed to know about yet. .
I had a really bad fall during my dance rehearsal. It changed my life. Couldn’t walk on my own, breathe on my own, or comprehend thought. And yet it was the best thing that ever happened to me. You see, along this “journey” I met my angels. People I never knew before who took the time to help me when I was afraid to ask for it. Those who loved me with no expectation of anything in return. I am stronger today than ever before because of them. Some flew in and out of my life without a name and others are there to still hold my hand when I need it. I never asked for this, but I did ask for love, for unconditional friendships. And I learned how to ask for help. .

We, as families, have sacrificed our time, our hearts, and our love for those that fought or chose to bravely defend our freedom and those around us. .
My veteran was taken from me returning from Afghanistan a shell of what he once was. I had to learn to mourn the soul while the body was standing in front of me. I know I’m not alone and neither are hundreds of others out there. This is the hardest day of the year for me and yet there’s a bond we all have with others that understand the pain and grief you eventually learn to live with. We are no longer together and the healing continues as the guilt and feelings of abandonment are diminishing. This day will forever be in my cells and will hold close to my heart as the sacrifice we all made together. ❤️🙏🏼💙
