They weren’t trying to be naughty… they just got way too excited!
At Lincolnshire Wildlife Park in England, five African grey parrots surprised everyone by suddenly learning some cheeky language and shouting it at visitors. One would yell something, another would crack up, and before long they were all at it together!
Their names sound harmless — Billy, Elsie, Eric, Jade, and Tyson — but as a group, they turned into a hilarious little comedy squad. Guests couldn’t help laughing, and the parrots loved the reaction so much they just kept going!
To keep things family-friendly, keepers decided to give each bird its own area in the park for a while. No punishment — just a little separation to tone things down and keep the fun light-hearted for everyone.
The parrots are doing perfectly fine. African greys are incredibly bright and natural mimics. With time, they’ll probably replace the bad words with whistles, songs, or sweet new phrases.
It’s pretty adorable imagining five mischievous parrots cracking each other up… a funny reminder that even the sassiest little troublemakers can still be lovable — maybe with a tiny bit of distance! ❤️
Fun Fact: African grey parrots can learn up to 1,000 words and can understand tone and context — which makes them both charming and unpredictably hilarious!

Nigel, a charming parrot from Britain, disappeared for four long years. He flew off from his home and somehow found himself far away in an unfamiliar place. During his time away, he picked up an entirely new way of speaking. So when he finally returned, his owner was stunned — instead of his usual British voice, Nigel was now speaking with a Spanish accent!
Everyone who heard about it was amused and amazed. It was hard to believe a parrot could adopt a completely different accent just by being gone for so long. Clearly, Nigel had been on quite a journey, meeting new people — and maybe a few feathered friends — who helped shape his new voice.
When he was finally reunited with his owner, the joy was undeniable. They had missed one another deeply. Not only were they together again, but they also had an unforgettable story to tell. Nigel’s unexpected Spanish accent became a hilarious and lovable part of who he was, bringing smiles and laughter to everyone around. It was a sweet, funny reunion full of warmth and happiness.

💙🕊️ Blue macaws have returned from the brink.
The Spix’s macaw — once vanished from Brazil’s wild — is soaring freely again.
Decades of habitat destruction and illegal trapping left only a handful living in captivity. But through relentless effort from researchers and conservation teams, these rare birds have been released back into the Caatinga.
Carefully trained to fly, forage, and survive on their own, they now fill the skies once more — a powerful reminder that dedication and hope can bring a species back to life. 🌍
