1️⃣. I never try new skincare products the day before Carnival morning and neither should you. If I do not know how my skin is going to react, then I am waiting until after Carnival day to test it out.

2️⃣. I don't leave old makeup on from the day before and neither should you. Your skin is the canvas and the cleaner it is when you start your Airbrush application, the smoother the final results.

3. I don't stay up all night and expect my makeup to do miracles and neither should you. Lack of sleep is the number one culprit for patchy makeup. Yes you are running on little sleep all during Carnival week, but the night before the big day is when you need to prioritize sleep to rejuvenate your body AND your skin.

Three things to cut expenses right now:

1️⃣Shop your closet

This summer heat has you wanting to be out at every fete, which means getting new outfits. Skip the Amazon app and the Fashionova and shop your closet. I know there is a dress or two that hasn't been worn recently and still makes you look amazing!

2️⃣ Skip the Starbucks

It looks nice to have that Starbucks cup in your hand, but spending $10 every day on your way to work is slowly draining your pockets. Cut a lemon and squeeze it into ice water from home. It is hydrating for your body and does magic for your skin.

3️⃣Forgo group workouts

Stay with me here. If you pay tonparticipate in a specific group workout, consider skipping a few classes and opting for an outdoor workout for free. Go to your local park, an outdoor track and field or even just around your block. It will save you tons of money, strengthen your body and supercharge your vitamin D. The perfect trifecta!
