What a treat to serve on the Steering Committee & to have spoken on the panel for the Arts for All Abilities Consortium’s 15TH Annual Conference entitled “IN SYNC: Problems of Practice, Community-Driven Solutions .” It was a beautiful day of collaboration and new knowledge.

Today has been bittersweet. It marked my last day as an assistant principal and the start of a new journey. I am excited to announce that I am the newest Arts Director for the NYC Department of Education with the Office of Arts & Special Projects. I will be supporting 134 schools across Districts 17, 18 & 22 in Brooklyn.
This role will allow me to design & provide professional development for principals & art teachers, work alongside superintendents on arts integration in schools, build curriculum, organize student arts festivals, help schools with their arts funding & so much more! 📸
