🔹 Start Position
Begin on all fours with hands under shoulders and knees under hips. Keep the spine neutral and core engaged.
🔹 Reach Opposite Arm & Leg
Extend one arm forward and the opposite leg backward. This improves balance, spinal stability, and core strength.
🔹 Tiger Pose
Bend the lifted leg and hold the foot with the opposite hand. This deepens the backbend while stretching the chest, hips, and spine.
🔹 Level 1: Low Cobra
Lift the chest slightly using minimal arm support. Great for beginners to activate lower back muscles gently.
🔹 Level 2: Cobra (Chest Off the Ground)
Press through the palms and lift the chest higher while keeping shoulders relaxed. Helps improve spinal flexibility and posture.
🔹 Level 3: High Cobra
A deeper version of cobra with greater spinal extension. Opens the chest, strengthens the back, and increases flexibility.
🔹 Level 1: On Forearm
Rest on forearms while bending the knees. This prepares the spine and shoulders for deeper backbends.
🔹 Level 2: Extend Bottom Arm
Hold one foot while extending the other arm for an asymmetrical back stretch. Improves mobility and coordination.
🔹 Level 3: Bow Pose
Hold both ankles and lift the chest and legs. A full backbend that stretches the entire front body and strengthens the spine.
⚠️ Move gradually and avoid forcing any pose. Consistency is the key to flexibility.
