6 months after FUE 🙌
Already seeing a noticeable improvement in the hairline and frontal density, and we’re only halfway through the growth process. Hair transplant results continue to develop over the next several months.

11 months post FUT!

Is this amount of swelling normal after a hair transplant?
Dr. Yazdan reacts to a video showing a patient on day 3 after a hair transplant with significant swelling around the forehead and eyes.
Some swelling after a hair transplant can happen, especially during the first few days after surgery. However, the amount of swelling shown in this video is much more significant than what we typically expect to see.
There are several factors that can contribute to post procedure swelling, which is why proper surgical technique, post operative care, and communication with your surgical team are important.
If you experience swelling that seems excessive, continues to worsen, or is accompanied by concerning symptoms, contact your surgeon rather than assuming it is part of the normal healing process

9 month FUE results. A great update from one of our FUE patients at 9 months.
For this patient, we focused on improving the density throughout the frontal zone and addressing the recession at the hairline peaks. The goal was to create a fuller, more defined hairline while keeping the shape natural, age appropriate, and complementary to his existing hair.
At 9 months, we’re already seeing a beautiful improvement in the front. The transplanted hairs have grown in nicely and blend naturally with his existing hair, giving the hairline a fuller and more balanced appearance!
We’re very happy with his progress and look forward to seeing the continued maturation of his results over the next few months

Why does the donor area look different from one FUE patient to another?
There isn’t one standard donor zone that fits every patient. Scalp anatomy, hair-loss pattern, donor density, hair characteristics, and the size and shape of the available donor area can all vary from person to person.
Before an FUE procedure, Dr. Yazdan evaluates the donor area and determines where grafts can be safely harvested based on that individual patient. The extraction pattern and number of grafts have to work with the patient’s anatomy and available donor supply (not a predetermined template)
This is also why two patients with similar hair loss may receive different graft recommendations. A hair transplant plan should take into account not only where hair is needed, but how much donor hair is available and how it can be used responsibly.
Every scalp is different, and the surgical plan should reflect that.
