This week, we celebrated our annual staff and resident summer picnics!

Our Annual Staff Picnic kicked off the festivities with delicious food, a live DJ, lots of dancing, and great company. The ice cream truck made an appearance at our entrance with lots of delicious options. Team members also received their new Dunwoody T-shirts and employee appreciation checks. A special thank you to our generous residents for contributing to the Employee Appreciation Fund. Your continued kindness and support mean so much to our staff.

Later in the day, residents gathered for their Annual Resident Picnic, which began with the dedication of our new History Wall, now proudly displayed in our lobby. The History Wall celebrates Dunwoody Village's rich legacy and the many individuals who have helped shape our community over the years. Following the dedication, residents enjoyed delicious food and the opportunity to spend time with friends and neighbors.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this special day such a success. From celebrating our dedicated staff to honoring our history and enjoying time together, it was a day that truly reflected the One Dunwoody spirit!

Ahead of Mother’s Day weekend, Wanda Perry surprised her hardworking housekeeping staff with a special thank-you in recognition of their daily dedication and compassionate service.

Their hard work, kindness, and commitment help create a clean, safe, and comforting environment for our residents every single day. Beyond keeping rooms and our community spotless, this incredible team brings warmth, dignity, smiles, and genuine care to the people who call our community home.

So much of what they do happens behind the scenes, but their efforts never go unnoticed. Thank you to our amazing housekeeping team for all you do to ensure our residents feel comfortable, respected, and cared for each and every day.
