Thank you so much to everyone who purchased raffle tickets, donated, and supported Lila Jo. I am excited to share our final total later this week after a few additional donations come in. We will then make our donation to the The National Pancreas Foundation in Lila Jo’s honor.
This week has been healing for me in so many ways. I will always be loud about autism awareness, pancreatic disease, and pediatric pancreatitis because they are so deeply connected to our family. It means more than I can put into words that so many people wanted to learn about what Lila Jo goes through and support a foundation that has been such a source of education and hope for our family through some incredibly fragile moments.
Our community truly came together for Lila Jo, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you for showing up, wearing purple, purchasing raffle tickets, donating, and helping us raise awareness for families like ours. This week was exactly what my heart needed, and I cannot thank you enough. 💜

Yesterday was absolutely amazing, but after sweating through our natural hot Pilates habitat, we’re giving Mother Nature a little time to calm down before the next one. 😂🔥

Yesterday was HOT. 🥵🔥 Like… our natural Pilates habitat. 😂 I honestly wasn’t sure how it was going to go, but every single woman in this photo showed up anyway. You wore purple, you sweated, you laughed, you pushed through, and you made yesterday something I’ll never forget. 💜
This week has been far more emotional than I expected. I’ve shared pieces of Lila Jo’s journey over the years, but I don’t think I truly realized just how much trauma we had both carried until yesterday. I made a playlist with some of her favorite songs and one song in particular that has carried me through some of the hardest seasons of my life. We listened to it so many times while sitting in hospital rooms for days and weeks at a time. Yesterday, hearing it surrounded by so much love felt different. It felt healing.
I was so excited for everyone to finally meet Lila Jo. She had her purple outfit on and was ready to come, but an accident on the Mid-Bay Bridge kept them from making it.
If you know her, you know she’s one of the most resilient, joyful, inspiring little humans you’ll ever meet. She’s been through more than most adults will face in a lifetime, yet somehow she still finds joy in everything. ❤️🩹Tomorrow she graduates from the Emerald Coast Autism Center, and if you need me, I’ll probably be crying while pretending to organize my house because that’s how I cope. 🥹💜
To 3rd planet brewery, every single person who attended, wore purple, bought raffle tickets, every business that donated, shared a post, or simply cheered us on… thank you. Lila Jo will draw the raffle winner tonight, and we will be making our donation to the National Pancreas Foundation by the end of next week after a few additional donations come in. I’m so incredibly grateful.
What I love most about these events isn’t just the Pilates. It’s the connection.
Most of us wear a hundred different hats. We carry heavy things that no one else sees. But when women come together, encourage each other, laugh together, and remind one another, “I’ve been there. If you need me, I’m here,” something really special happens.
Yesterday wasn’t just about surviving 100° weather on the turf. It was about community. Healing. Friendship. And remembering that no matter what season we’re in, we’re never meant to do it alone.
Thank you for making Color It Purple Week so incredibly meaningful for our family. I love this community more than you’ll ever know. 💜

As many of you know, Lila Jo has struggled with pancreatic and biliary issues for the past three years. We are now with an incredible pediatric pancreas care team in Cincinnati, and we are so grateful for them. We still have some unknowns ahead of us, but we remain hopeful.
The National Pancreas Foundation has been such a gift to me. Their webinars, resources and knowledge have helped parents like me understand an organ we never imagined we would need to know so much about.
Thank you for supporting my sweet girl and a cause that means so much to our family. I cannot wait to see everyone tomorrow 💜✨

She is absolutely rocking her new leg braces 💜 She has been begging to wear them, and seeing how excited and confident she is to wear them to school makes my heart so happy.
She’s also proudly rocking purple in honor of herself and to help raise awareness for pancreatic disease and the The National Pancreas Foundation Her confidence, joy, and strength inspire me every single day.
