When a natural redhead asks for calico hair… you say yes. 🐈✨
We used her gorgeous natural red as the foundation, then added the perfect mix of warm blonde and black to create that dimensional, calico-inspired color.
One of my favorite things about this look is that we worked with her natural color, not against it. The result feels intentional, customized, and uniquely hers.

Double cleansing your hair + scalp might be the most overlooked step in your routine ✨
If your hair never quite feels clean, your scalp gets oily quickly, or your products don’t seem to “work”… this could be why.
The first shampoo is meant to break down buildup , oil, sweat, dry shampoo, and product residue sitting on your scalp. It may not lather much, and that’s normal. It’s doing the heavy lifting.
The second shampoo is where the real cleanse happens. Now that buildup is removed, your shampoo can actually reach the scalp, create a proper lather, and cleanse more effectively.
Why this matters:
• creates a healthier scalp environment
• helps extend time between washes
• improves volume at the root
• allows your products to perform the way they’re supposed to
• leaves your hair feeling actually clean, not coated
A few tips:
• focus your shampoo on the scalp, not the ends
• use less product than you think , you don’t need a ton
• massage thoroughly (this also boosts circulation)
• don’t rush it , give each cleanse a moment to work
This isn’t about over-washing — it’s about washing effectively.
