A little story time

Back in June, I had the pleasure of doing this beautiful bride’s makeup. She was originally planning to get married in Michigan on the same day, but because a family member couldn’t travel, she decided to have a small ceremony here in Ohio at a family friend’s house.

When I arrived at their place on her wedding day, I walked into their stunning backyard, which featured a large in-ground pool. While I was doing her makeup, I jokingly asked if she and her future husband were going to jump in the pool at the end of the night. She said they thought about it but weren’t sure. Anyway, I finished her makeup and, of course, didn’t take a picture because my iPhone camera is terrible (it’s been dropped in water a couple of times 😅).

A few days later, she sent me a video of them jumping into the pool in her dress! Swipe to see her sweet message saying how her makeup still looked good after taking the plunge.

So, whenever anyone questions if their makeup will last all night and withstand sweat and tears, I think it’s safe to say, yes, it will. ☺️
