🍃 Coming up on 1 year since we opened this grand venture after 12 years in business. All I can say is thank you. She’s been all I ever dreamed of. Running a small business out of your house is more taxing than I’d like to admit. It blurs the lines of a peaceful home, and for me it meant raising babies with hustling a growing side business. My main priority was always my 3 kids and family, but this was a passion that got me through infertility, the adoption of my 2nd son, 2 miscarriages, moves, the death of my mother, a struggling marriage, and life in general. It makes messes not meant to be there, but also allows for slots of time to fill orders during naps, or down time. It’s so amazing to have a separate production space and offset that with retail. While I couldn’t foresee the bumps that have come this year, including mostly personal, but also the unforseen closing of our shopping center anchor (where we got almost all of our foot traffic), in my eyes it’s still been a success. Let’s sprinkle all of the fairy dust onto year 2! 💕✨ We are looking to relocate more towards Summerville, so we will see where the path leads us now!
