Always learning. 🤍
Today I stopped by Little Love Spa to check out new technology and see what’s out there. I’m always looking for ways to elevate the client experience, especially for our membership clients.
I truly believe that continuing education and staying curious is one of the best investments you can make. I’m excited to see what we can bring to The Beauty Plug next.
Some days I just have to pause and soak it all in.
What a privilege it is to have built The Beauty Plug and spend my days surrounded by the most incredible people. Every client who trusts me with their skin, every conversation in the treatment room, every laugh, every transformation… none of it is something I’ll ever take for granted.
This business has given me so much more than a career. It’s given me purpose, friendships, and the opportunity to serve people in a way that truly fills my heart.
To every single person who has supported The Beauty Plug, thank you. You are the reason I get to do what I love every single day, and I never want to lose sight of what a blessing that is. 🤍
This is my mom!
Moms spend so much of their lives taking care of everyone else. Now it’s my turn to take care of her. 🤍
Today we started her series of six chemical peels, and I can’t wait to watch her skin transform over the next few months.
A lot of people think chemical peels are just for dark spots, but they do so much more. By encouraging healthy cell turnover, they help fade hyperpigmentation while also stimulating collagen production. Over time, that can soften the look of fine lines, improve skin texture, and leave the skin looking brighter, smoother, and more radiant.
Aging is a privilege. My goal isn’t to erase it, but to help her skin look as healthy, vibrant, and confident as she feels.
Here’s to six treatments, beautiful progress, and getting to spoil the woman who has always taken care of me.
This client was looking for a little refresh and a brighter, more radiant complexion, so we customized her treatment with a chemical peel and the TalaDerma Brightening & Collagen Booster.
Chemical peels do so much more than exfoliate. By encouraging controlled skin renewal, they help stimulate collagen and elastin production over time, improving the appearance of fine lines, texture, enlarged pores, and overall skin tone.
To take the treatment even further, we paired it with the TalaDerma Brightening & Collagen Booster to support skin repair, boost hydration, and enhance luminosity for an even healthier glow.
✨ Benefits of today’s treatment:
• Brighter, more even-looking skin
• Smoother texture
• Refined-looking pores
• Softened appearance of fine lines
• Support for long-term collagen and elastin production
Healthy, glowing skin isn’t about changing your skin. It’s about helping it function at its best.
Why I Love Chemical Peels (And Why Not Every Peel Is Right for Everyone)
One of the questions I get asked all the time is, “Which chemical peel is the best?”
The truth is…there isn’t one.
Every acid does something different, which is why I don’t believe in giving every client the exact same peel.
Here’s a simple breakdown:
* Salicylic Acid – My go-to for oily and acne-prone skin. It travels into the pores to help break up congestion and reduce breakouts.
* Lactic Acid – Great if your skin is dry, sensitive, or you’re just starting out with peels. It gently exfoliates while helping keep the skin hydrated.
* Glycolic Acid – Perfect for dull skin, uneven texture, and fine lines. It helps smooth the skin and gives you that healthy glow.
* Mandelic Acid – One of my favorites for acne and hyperpigmentation because it’s effective while still being gentle on many skin types.
* TCA-Free Peels & Newer Generation Peels – These are becoming some of my favorite options for improving pigmentation, texture, acne scars, and signs of aging with less downtime.
That’s why every new client starts with a 90-minute consultation and facial. We spend the first part talking about your skin history, what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what you’re hoping to achieve.
Then I customize your treatment based on your skin—not what worked for someone else on Instagram.
Because the best chemical peel isn’t the strongest one…
It’s the one that’s right for your skin.

It’s the one that’s right for your skin.
This is my beautiful client, Wendi, and her main concern is hyperpigmentation.
Today we’re starting her on a series of six AMiKO Colostrum Peels.
One peel can absolutely brighten the skin, but hyperpigmentation develops over time, and it also takes time to safely fade it. Each treatment builds on the last by encouraging healthy cell turnover, improving skin texture, and helping lift excess pigment while supporting the skin’s natural repair process.
A series of six treatments allows us to:
* Gradually fade discoloration without over-treating the skin.
* Continue stimulating healthy cell renewal.
* Monitor her skin and adjust the protocol as needed.
* Achieve more consistent, longer-lasting results.
The treatments are only one part of the process. Home care, daily SPF, and consistency between appointments are just as important for getting the best outcome.
I’m excited to document Wendi’s journey over the next six treatments so you can follow her progress along the way.
Today’s treatment: AMiKO CMCA Peel + TalaDerma Collagen + Elastin
This is one of my favorite combinations because we’re not just resurfacing the skin—we’re also supporting recovery and skin rejuvenation.
What makes the AMiKO Peel different?
AMiKO is the first professional peel formulated with colostrum, combined with AHA, BHA, and MCA acids to improve texture, pigmentation, acne, and fine lines while supporting the skin barrier. (Amiko Peel USA)
Key ingredients + what they do:
• Colostrum (33%) – Rich in growth factors, amino acids, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals to support skin repair, collagen production, and a healthier skin barrier. (Amiko Peel USA)
• Lactic Acid (20%) – Gently exfoliates, hydrates, encourages healthy cell turnover, improves skin tone, and supports collagen and elastin production. (Amiko Peel USA)
• Monochloroacetic Acid (MCA) (10%) – Provides controlled resurfacing to improve hyperpigmentation, acne scars, uneven texture, and signs of sun damage. (Amiko Peel USA)
• Salicylic Acid – Helps dissolve excess oil, clear congested pores, reduce blemishes, and smooth skin texture. (Amiko Peel USA)
• Panthenol – Soothes, hydrates, and helps strengthen the skin barrier. (Amiko Peel USA)
• Allantoin – Calms the skin, supports healing, improves hydration, and promotes healthy collagen production. (Amiko Peel USA)
• Amino Acids (Proline, Glycine & Lysine) – Essential building blocks that help support collagen synthesis and healthy skin function. (Amiko Peel USA)
After the peel, I finish with TalaDerma Collagen + Elastin to flood the skin with proteins that help support hydration, improve the feeling of firmness and elasticity, and leave the skin looking plump, healthy, and radiant.
The goal isn’t just to peel the skin—it’s to renew it while supporting a healthy recovery process.
