Knowing how too is key though, I need to know what the ink was made out of. For instance the ink for the Tattoos was made out of burnt tire...

I won’t comment on that but, I have to be careful with it.

I also need to know how to carefully treat every skin type. My friend here that I work with is from Vietnam. He loved seeing that it’s possible to remove Tattoos! I love helping out, and seeing everyone happy!

As usual I only broke the ice on this Tattoo meaning I take it very easy for every first treatment. I may need to treat some spots 1 more time after this.

My Client gave me permission to share her Tattoo, and to yet again make another post about how sun exposure, tanning, and any kind of self tanners are a no go for Laser Tattoo Removal.

My new Client had no idea about this, and this Tattoo of hers has been treated 16 times. This Tattoo shouldn’t be visible. Her Tattoo was being treated while she was tanning.

It all depends heavily on if the Laser Tech has had the right training.

Whenever you’ve had sun exposure, your skin is working towards repairing the Melanin that makes up your skin tone. So whenever you’re tan, it’s actually not a good thing, yes we think it looks “good” for some reason but, your skin is actually damaged, and the color is coming from your skin working to repair itself.

Now let’s say you go to someone WITHOUT this knowledge, and they treat your Tattoo via Laser, the laser is also affecting the melanin in your skin. So if you go through a treat of removal while your skin is already trying to repair itself then this is what can happen to the melanin in your skin.

The white parts of her skin where the Tattoo is gone is called Hypopigmentation. This is caused by damaging the Melanin in your skin that makes up your skin tone.

If you’ve had ☀️ Sun exposure then it’s a must that we wait 3-4 weeks before I treat your Tattoo, and I highly recommend to stay out of the Sun during the process of it’s removal.

The Goal with Tattoo Removal is to remove the Tattoo, and to not cause another problem.

I will be running again very soon so here’s the warning again, and helpful tip before we get started on your Tattoos again.

Please keep your Tattoos out of the Sun, Tanning beds, and also away from any spray on tans.

I will not be able to start removing your Tattoos if you’ve had sun exposure less than 2-3 weeks before your treatment. It’s also best to stay out of the Sun during the process of your removals. If you have had sun exposure during the process of your removal and I can see that your skin is burnt, or tan, I can not treat you, and you’ll have to pay to get back on the book for another treatment.

If you work outside here’s what I need you to do. Keep your Tattoos covered, and you’ll also need to put 80 spf on your Tattoos even if they’re covered. Our clothes don’t completely block out the UV rays.
