Let’s talk Powder Brows and the phases of the procedure ✨
Powder Brows are completed in 2 steps.
1st - the initial appointment
2nd - the touch up appointment to finalize the results (6-8 weeks after the initial appointment)
As you see in the photos, Powder Brows tend to appear very bold after the first procedure, and then are meant to heal soft and natural. At the 2nd session, it’s a minor addition to the healed results to provide one last boost of fullness and color.
Powder Brows do not replace the heavy makeup look - this is where there is alot of confusion.
The technique is meant to heal soft and give the appearance of a full and defined brow, but that is very natural and undetectable as a cosmetic tattoo ✨

3rd photo is healed results after the initial 1st session.
Everyone heals differently and aftercare is a big responsibility of the client. When taking great care of the brows during healing, the overall pigment retention will be better.
Touch ups are key to finalize the color, and results. The better you care for the brows, the more flawless the long term results will be.

Depth of old pigment, scar tissue, shape and symmetry, all play a role in helping decide if a cover up is possible.
In this case, my client has an old brow tattoo that turned bright pink. A removal was opted out, so we went in for a neutralization to cancel out the pink tones and then a target color to get her that dark bold brow she really wanted .
