We are sold out for the week! I hope everyone is enjoying their sourdough goodies from this weekend 🤍 We will see everyone Saturday for what looks like another beautiful day! What would everyone like to see at the Sourdough Shack? 🥰

Whew! What a whirlwind it’s been the last few days. Between construction on our basement from the flooding and getting acclimated to the new space, a long prep day Thursday, a 14 hour bake day yesterday and a few hours of sleep, this baker is exhausted! BUT, you all made it worth it! What an amazing weekend at the Sourdough Shack and at Ted Lare’s Fall Harvest Art Show! Thank you all! 🤍

There’s just a few goodies left at the Sourdough Shack including some pumpkin maple rolls, focaccia, fall oatmeal cream pies, chocolate chip cookie sandwiches, and some fresh apple butter 🍎

There’s also some granola and pancake mix, simmer pot kits, jelly/jam, and egg holders my son 3d prints.

We’re all set up at Ted Laire for their Fall Harvest Art Show! There are tons of vendors here today - it’s a beautiful morning! We will be here from 9-2 with sourdough goodies, jam and apple butter, sourdough flights, and some sweet treats!

The Sourdough Shack is open for the day! Lots of sourdough goodies and sweet rolls. We’re also going to be at Ted Laire today from 9-2 so be sure to come see us at the shack or the Fall Harvest Art Show!

Up late working on everything for tomorrow and these cookie butter rolls… !! I had some taste testers in the house who approve 👍🏻

The Sourdough Shack will be open at 8am tomorrow! I have to get to Ted Laire to set up for the Fall Art show so will be open a little earlier than usual 😊 Lots of sourdough goodies including loaves (like this new Cheddar Ranch loaf), cookies, focaccia, cinnamon rolls (regular, pumpkin maple, and cookie butter this week!), and more!

We will also be at Ted Laire Garden Center from 9-2 so be sure to come see us and other small businesses for the Fall Art Show!

I’m not sure what Heaven smells like, but I think it might be these sourdough cookie butter rolls 🤤

Please note that this weekend there will be a little less of a variety of flavors at the Sourdough Shack due to me baking for both it and the Fall Art Show at Ted Laire. There will still be plenty to choose from, including a new cheddar ranch sourdough loaf, but expect more of multiples of the same flavors instead of a wide variety of flavors this week 😊

Re-stock of sourdough pancake mix (plain and pumpkin spice), and granola (caramel apple butter and pumpkin spice) coming, too this weekend!

This weekend I will have some fresh apple butter available! It’s a rough year for apples in Iowa so my batches are kind of small right now, I’m hoping to get a bigger batch soon!

It’s also getting close to the end of garden season so I’ve been harvesting everything I can and I had an abundance of fresh lemon balm growing - so, I made some lemon balm sugar! Perfect for baking, teas, a finishing touch on sweet treats like cookies, on top of oatmeal, etc 🍋

A reminder that the Sourdough Shack will be open Saturday, and we will also be at Ted Laire Garden Center from 9-2 for their Fall Art Show!
