Leave it to God. Things I worry about, before I can even pray about it, God takes care of it. Speedily. If you are not a believer, and struggle with anxiety, worry, overthinking, rumination, racing thoughts… try giving your life to JESUS. Even if you are unsure, afraid, questioning, half way in… doesn’t matter. Try it and see what happens. I promise you, He loves you. I used to think I have no right to come to God if my problems are self-created. Doesn’t matter. David and Peter created their own mess and God’s grace saved them still. Come as you are. The devil is a liar, he comes to evoke fear, to kill, steal and destroy. He comes through people as well, so pray protection prayers everyday. I walk into any room, unbothered, unafraid and unshaken because I know the power of the almighty MOST HIGH. 🙏✨

I tried so hard to find a picture of him without his glasses lol, but I couldn’t contain my excitement! 🥹❤️ I’m SO proud of him!! We’ve waited YEARS for this moment, faced so many disappointments, but never lost hope! I was honestly starting to think we’d have to settle But LOOK AT GOD!! 🙌🏽

HE MADE IT!! A promotion, more job security, and a pay coming that will truly change our lives! God is SO good!! He’s already genius, legit the smartest man I’ve ever met. & now he gets use his intellect doing something he absolutely loves, I know he will excel in this role. I’m sooo happy for him !! He deserves every bit of it!!! ❤️

My first week since permanently closing my books, and I can finally breathe. No more building my life around a full book of clients. I’m building my life first, and everything else will have to fit around it.

I never understood why people glorified being “booked and busy.” It’s not all it’s cracked up to be. I’ll say what many beauty pros won’t admit. They may love the craft, but that doesn’t mean it brings them peace. Many are silently drowning. You work 12 hours, go home proud of the money you made, then lie in a tub of Epsom salt because your body is aching. The chemicals are affecting your health, you’re exhausted, and eventually you ask yourself, is this really worth it?

The industry is oversaturated, the barrier to entry is low, and your income is tied to how many hours of physical labor you can crank out. You’re not famous, you’re not rich, you’re just overworked. But at least you can say you’re an “entrepreneur.” ?

I’m grateful I developed other skills & have more to offer beyond labor intensive services. The more I grow and build my life, the more I realize being busy was never the goal. Being FULFILLED is.

Booking site is now officially closed!! Yay 😁 I’m excited to have more time to step into my next few chapters!! The dreams I’m building, the family I’m building, and the future I’ve been quietly creating for myself. 🤍

I’ve always known I was bigger than one title, one business, or one season. I’m so incredibly smart, capable, loved, protected, provided for, and constantly growing. My Soulmate just got a promotion so he’s growing in so many ways as well & I’m so proud of him.

I’ve learned that not everyone will be comfortable watching a pretty black woman be happy, chosen, ambitious, loved well, and continue to elevate … & that’s okay. I don’t need everyone to understand it.
This next season is about freedom, family, purpose, and building something even bigger! I am so blessed & highly favored ✨

I have a testimony to share… and honestly, I feel like I have one almost every other day.

Every single time God moves, it still surprises me. I’m still battling with things. God is still working on me in so many areas. But because of Jesus Christ, I keep watching God answer prayers in ways I could have never planned, predicted, or even imagined.

& this is what I tell people when they ask me about my faith: at some point, when the “coincidences” keep happening over and over and over again… you have to stop calling it coincidence.

There comes a point where there is no pattern that can explain that many perfectly timed moments.

& every time He does it, my faith gets stronger. 🤍
