Luis began cutting hair in his native Santa de Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia when he was very young. Years later he moved to Brazil where he studied cosmetology and continued working as a hairdresser. Eager to know new places, he moved to Chile, and after a while there, he returned to Bolivia and settled in La Paz where he developed a passion for color. e, this time to Buenos Aires, where he had the opportunity to pursue more formal studies of cosmetology management and became the owner of a salon - Luis Alberto Styling - fulfilling his dream. His salon flourished and grew to become a highly regarded busy salon with over a dozen stylists and many clients from the Argentinian arts community. The turns of life brought Luis to the United States, specifically the Twin Cities in Minnesota. There he joined the team at Riverstone and dedicated himself to the tastes, styles and language of a new culture. But his journey took one more turn as he finally landed in Sarasota Florida where he first worked at an Aveda salon before leaving to once again re-establish Luis Alberto Styling - this time an exclusive 1-1 salon with all the style and passion that has been central to his career.
