A month of connection, community, and giving!

Welcome to October, Hair Farm family! This month is filled with events, specials, and opportunities to make a difference together.

Each year, we support the Riverside chapter of Susan G. Komen. So far over the years, we’ve contributed more than $5,000, and we’re continuing our fundraising efforts with your help. Every purchase, donation, and act of support adds up!
We hope you’re enjoying the variety of services available at Hair Farm. We’re also looking to grow our salon family! If you know a stylist, nail technician, or braider who would be a great fit for our community, please send them our way.

You loved our monthly specials over the past two months, so we’re giving you even more to look forward to in October: six daily specials!

Mark Your Calendar!

Trunk or Treat
Saturday, October 31 | 2–6 PM
We’re taking over the parking lot for an afternoon of family fun! Bring your family to meet local small businesses, collect candy, and enjoy a safe, festive outing. Costumes are welcome!
Interested in participating as a business or hosting a trunk? Let Stevenie know as soon as possible!

BCCIE Third Monday Mixer
Monday, October 19 | 6:30 PM
Join us at Hair Farm for an evening celebrating Black business excellence! Whether you own a business, are exploring entrepreneurship, or simply want to connect with local Black-owned businesses, you’re welcome to join us.
We have a special activity planned to help everyone connect. Come ready to meet new people and build community!

Help Us Give Back
October kicks off our giving season, and we have three ways for you to participate:
1. Our Annual Dime Drive
Look for the pink bucket at your stylist’s station and drop in your dimes! Want to shake up the competition? Add nickels or quarters to a competing stylist’s bucket—their value will be deducted from that stylist’s dime total.
The stylist with the highest final score earns a full year of bragging rights! Every coin still goes toward our fundraiser, so the friendly competition helps us give even more.
2. Pink Cups — $10
Grab one of our bright pink cups and show your support! All proceeds go toward our fundraiser.
3. Pink Hair Farm Logo Hats — $30
Represent Hair Farm while giving back! Profits from hat sales go toward our fundraiser.

Stevenie’s Corner
Hey, family! Stevenie here!
I’m still working on my master plan to make Hair Farm a household name and a lasting staple in our community. We’ve added new chairs, and new bases for our shampoo bowls are coming soon to make your visits more comfortable. My goal is to create a space where you can settle in, relax, and feel cared for.
October always marks the beginning of our giving season, and I’m grateful, thankful, and blessed to have a tribe like you helping us make a difference. Your support makes all of this possible!
Holiday appointments are opening! Remember, my booking calendar operates on a rolling 60-day window. Each day becomes available automatically 60 days in advance; I don’t manually release additional dates.
I have no upcoming vacations planned, and I’ll be working Thanksgiving Eve, Black Friday, and Christmas Eve. Keep an eye on the calendar and book your holiday appointments as those dates become available!
