✨ WHEN YOUR CLIENT’S EYES JUST WON’T STAY CLOSED ✨

Not every flutter, twitch, or partially opening eye means the client is uncomfortable or experiencing irritation.

During this appointment, my client’s eyelids naturally fluttered and opened throughout the service—even though she was relaxed, had no burning or discomfort, and hadn’t consumed caffeine.

👁️ Eyelid movement can be triggered by:
• Natural involuntary muscle activity
• Fatigue or stress
• Eye strain or dry eyes
• Sensitivity to light
• Or simply… some clients naturally do this!

As a lash artist, the goal is to observe, communicate, and adapt. When the eyes won’t remain fully closed, extra care is needed with taping, placement, and minimizing exposure to adhesive fumes.

Every client’s eyes are different—and sometimes being a lash artist means learning how to work with the wiggles. 😂🫶🏼
