If your gel, builder gel, or acrylic is lifting and you use Dawn dish soap, this may be the reason 👀🧼

Dawn is formulated to cut heavy grease and oils — which also means it strips the natural oils from your nails and breaks down product adhesion over time. With repeated exposure, this causes lifting, chipping, and premature wear.

This is not a product failure and not poor application — this is an aftercare issue.

✨ How to prevent nail lifting:
🧤 Wear gloves when washing dishes or cleaning
🍽️ Use the dishwasher when possible
💧 Apply cuticle oil daily (especially after water exposure)
