Greater Tri Cities IPA was proud to attend the 2027 Product Overview Meeting in San Diego as we prepare for the upcoming Annual Enrollment Period.

A special thank you to Diane Gaswirth and the UnitedHealthcare team for the collaboration and for giving GTCIPA a strong presence at the meeting. It was a valuable opportunity to connect with brokers and healthcare partners, learn more about the 2027 product landscape, and continue making sure our physician network and resources are represented as everyone prepares for open enrollment.

For GTCIPA, these relationships matter. Working directly with health plans, brokers, and community partners helps us provide better information and stronger connections to the independent physicians serving patients throughout North County San Diego.

Older adults should have their house checked for fall prevention. Nightlights in hallways, getting rid of loose rugs, and installing grab bars in areas where slipping is common (such as the shower) can help prevent you from joining the 3 million Americans every year who are hospitalized due to an injury incurred while falling.

Today, Greater Tri Cities IPA had the pleasure of bringing local Medicare brokers together for an inside look at Dr. Baniadam’s practice — an opportunity to tour the office, speak directly with Dr. Baniadam about his approach to primary care, and meet the team that helps care for his patients every day.

A special thank you to Dr.Baniadam and his staff — Jordan Bellflowers and Kyla Christel — for opening their doors and making everyone feel so welcome.

Tiffany Brooks and Richard Zarate were also on hand representing GTCIPA, connecting with brokers, providing support, and answering questions about our physician network and the resources available as we head into the Annual Enrollment Period.

These face-to-face conversations matter. When brokers know our physicians, understand their practices, and have the right resources, they can better help North County patients find care that feels personal and close to home.
