is a holistic health center established in 2003. We host Christina Zarate, LMT, HHP, MQP (AKA: Christina Dalforno)- a highly trained and experienced therapeutic massage practitioner. With a quarter century of experience, Christina personalizes each session to address their individuality and various complaints. Having worked with many clients post procedure, and helping them heal with lymphatic drainage massage therapy, Christina has a familiarity and intimate knowledge of the healing process.
Things I have learned this year, that I might have already known, but wanted to share!
1) Liposuction hurts really bad! Like worse than you think and some say "not worth it!". And, did you know that if you receive abdominal liposuction you may not be a future candidate to use your own stomach tissue to reconstruct a breast? And you can't "undo" lipo!
2) Fibromyalgia is real. It has real markers and I can even feel "it" in some of my clients. Lymphatic Drainage massage therapy, which is a very light touch relaxing massage, can really help to calm and literally reset the nervous system. I have helped many clients return to an activity level that is enjoyable post diagnosis of this condition.
3) Hormones are here to help you not to hurt you. They can help you retain basic metabolic function well into those peri and post menopause years. Birth Control is not natural hormone replacement therapy, it is birth control! Don't let your doctors tell you you don't need HRT. This is a larger conversation about your body and metabolic health, not just preventing pregnancy!
4) Communicate with your doctor about your health and vaccinate when appropriate! The world is crazy, your personal health doesn't have to be!
5) You are perfect! There is only one of you! If you want to change something about yourself, I understand the pressures these days, but just consider that maybe you are perfect just the way you are! I see so many bodies and they are all unique and amazing. They are all so different and yet they all work in their own way!

SO you know you have been loyal to a company when you pull out an old makeup case that looks like this! ColoreScience and I go WAAAAAAYYYYY back! I really love this brand and I wish that social media wasn't all hype, because this brand deserves it! I can only imagine what it takes to maintain a hold on a customer base these days. I have seen many changes over the years, but I have remained loyal to some of their core products. They don't do all the makeup colors anymore and stick to sunscreen as a concept (which I support), and I trust their ingredient load and technology.
