Consider this your sign… 🤭

There’s nothing better than being able to wake up in the morning + looking in the mirror to see that you already look put together - especially during an already hectic time of year.

Whether you’ve been on the fence about lashes because of time constraints, financial stressors, or just the nervousness of getting a new service done - this offer is too good to pass up (and coming just in time as we start prepping for the holidays) 😉

Here’s your special offer: Get a full set of lash extensions for only $100 (that’s $75 off regular pricing 🤭) OR a lash lift + tint for only $50 ($40 off regular pricing) by putting “SIGNS” in the appointment notes when booking

Don’t see a time that works for you? Send me a message and we can work around your schedule! An after hours fee of $25 will apply

*offer valid on appointments scheduled through November 30th

Whether the last time you were in my studio was two days ago, or two years ago - I truly do think of my girls all the time 🫶🏻

I adore the idea that my happy place has been able to become a safe space for you, or the fact that I myself have become a safe person to talk to about all the things that may be going on in your life.

I will always be here to cheer with you for the wins, and support you through hardship. At the end of the day, you are so much more than “just a client” to me, you’re a part of my community 🫶🏻

A few unhinged things you may not know about me, because who doesn’t love some lore?

Teeth are just weird to me okay? It’s like bone on the outside of your body, but it’s not a bone? Idk I can’t explain it, it just freaks me out 😭 and if you choose to enter the dentistry field and deal with teeth all day? Something’s wrong with you I’M SORRY

From the floor of the shower to my pillow when I wake up in the morning, I genuinely do find dimes EVERYWHERE. I usually find more of them closer to big life events, and I just take it as a sign that Danny is watching over me

If you’ve ever heard me talk about Don, you know that I call him Dad - I always have. He came into my life when I was still a toddler, and instantly accepted me as his own

Don’t talk to me about fine line unless you want to hear a thesis worthy breakdown on the lyrics, production, and instrumental I could go on and on

At some point I just became a girl who’s gonna pick sausage over bacon EVERY TIME

Getting vulnerable here… literally asked my therapist about why in the world this would be my coping mechanism and she just shrugged her shoulders and was like “yeah girl i don’t know.”

Honestly though it’s kinda funny soooooo 😅

Now that I’ve thoroughly exposed myself, tell me something about YOU!

Bonus fact: I actually made my own font of my handwriting as part of my branding profile. I feel like it adds such a personalized touch 🫶🏻

When I’m not at the studio….. I’m probably on mommy duty 🤭

Catch me at okczoo anytime the weather is nice. I love being able to get my steps in while watching so many animals grow alongside my little girl

Babytime at Metro Library has become aspyn’s favorite weekly activity

Kinda chic to feed your baby whenever and wherever

Who’s the real culprit for causing lash damage? 🕵️‍♀️

🫆Suspect # 1, The Lash Artist. Lash extensions aren’t damaging to the natural lash on their own, but poor technique can cause some issues.
Isolation: this is the process of separating a SINGLE eyelash to place an extension on. This is arguably the most important part of the process, as proper isolation is needed to ensure that each natural lash is able to continue to follow its natural growth cycle. If isolation isn’t on point, you can end up with multiple lashes sticking together, causing pulling and damage to your lash line.
Placement: It’s important that extensions are placed properly. You want the base to be flush with the natural lash to avoid any “lifted bases” which can get snagged when your client is brushing through their lashes
Weight + Length: even with perfect isolation and placement, you have to consider what the natural lash itself can handle. If the natural lash can’t support the extension, strain is placed on the lash follicle and can produce damaging results

🫆 Suspect # 2, The Client. Even if your lash artist has done everything perfectly, you still have a job to do.
Regular Maintenance Appointments: We don’t recommend fills every 2-3 weeks just because we want your money, it’s actually in an effect to keep your lashes happy and healthy. Your fill appointments allow your lash artist to go in and remove any extensions that have grown out + replace them so they don’t put strain on the lash line (and obviously, fill in any sparse areas that have shed out)
Cleansing: your lash artist should be providing you with clear aftercare instructions. I actually include an aftercare kit with every full set, to ensure you have the proper tools to take care of your lashes. Without proper cleansing, dirt and oil can build up on your lash extensions and cause not only damage, but things like contact blepharitis
Picking: picking at your lashes in any capacity, whether that be actually pulling on your extensions or simply rubbing your eyes, is the number one culprit for damage caused while wearing extensions

So before we blame extensions themselves, let’s zoom out

I will never be the lash artist that’s known for being quick with their application - I need to be able to take my time to give you the best lashes. Before i started working for myself, I was at a lash studio that pushed for full sets to be completed in an HOUR AND A HALF - it genuinely gave me so much anxiety + impacted the quality of my work. So no, I will never be the lash artist that’s able to get you in and out in the blink of an eye 🫶🏻

Collecting Spoolies like infinity stones 💎

Here at Groovy Gal Lash, every piece of your service is intentional - down to the spoolie used to brush your lashes. Instead of using a traditional bristled spoolie brush, I opt for silicone spoolies! Not only did this switch mean getting to cut down on my disposable products (since silicone can easily be cleaned + disinfected), but the silicone bristles are also much more gentle on your lash line! Traditional spoolie bristles can actually cause microtears to your lash line if you brush your lashes a lil too aggressively - and nobody wants that!!

If you’re in the OKC area and are ready to start your spoolie collection, head on over to the link in my bio to check out my availability 🫶🏻
