Hello everyone!! It’s been so long!! I just wanted to give everyone out there an update since I’ve had so many of you lovely, wonderful, amazing, beautiful people reach out to me lately asking questions. I am so heartbroken to announce that I am not returning to behind chair for the foreseeable future. I have been diagnosed with epilepsy as of August of 2025. My hands are just too shakey and my seizures are not controlled enough for me to be able to show up as consistently as I want to and need to, to be able to make your hair dreams become a reality. As soon as that changes I will be screaming it from every roof top and will be posting everywhere so I can see all of your lovely faces again in my chair. Please don’t be afraid to reach out if you need recommendations on where to go as I still have many friends in many places that can help you achieve your hair goals. (Or even if you just want to say hi! I will never not take an opportunity to catch up even if I’m not there with a blow dryer in hand 😉) I’ll miss swapping secrets and sharing all the good and bad moments of life together. Soooo until we meet again ❤️ thank you all for your support, your love, and all of the laughs in between. I love you all so so much. Thank you for being there every step of the way.

Now that is officially official…… I’m starting my new career at Trios Salon Omaha!!! I’m so excited to join a team who places such value on LGBTQ+ issues, inclusivity and respect for every human. Hi! My name is Mattie Watts. I’m a stylist at Trios Salon Omaha. I specialize in making you feel beautiful and cared for while you’re in my chair. My main love is vivid creations and hair cuts of any kind. I love being able to tailor each experience in my chair to the person who sits there. In my spare time I love to collect and care for house plants (get me talking about plants and I won’t stop), take care of my 3 year old blue heeler/shepard mix and enjoy life with my family. My husband and I recently got married in July of 2022. He is a huge support to my career and life. He has always encouraged me to be the best version of myself and I carry that wisdom with me to my chair everyday to better care for you, my lovely client and friend. I graduated hair school in 2022 at Capitol. Being a stylist to me means to go above and beyond for whoever is in my chair and treating them like family. I just love helping people in anyway I can and making people feel good about themselves has been a healing and rewarding journey for me that I cannot wait to continue. I can’t wait to see you in my chair!
